"PETE AND REPEAT"

"Ave Christus, morituri te salutamus!"

As a Christian I must remember that life has purpose and that there are no "accidents", consequently all things in life have purpose and meaning (whether for myself or for others does not matter). If I take this attitude when reading scripture then I come away with so much more; it would seem somewhat redundant for God to write about David and others a second time in Chronicles, after all why didn't He just put all this information in Kings and why does He bother to repeat some things so often? I am reminded of my role as a parent-how many times must I review things with my children? Also my role as a teacher-again continual review of material is needed for the students to learn it properly and thoroughly. Finally, there is my role as a student/learner/disciple I am quite aware of my need to review, review, review. If this principle is needed for the basic fundamentals of the mind and for living life, how much more is it needed for matters concerning the spirit-as I have so often heard "first the natural then the spiritual".
